Beginning the New

Decided to let you guys read a song I wrote.

I sit on the edge of the new
I look around and flashbacks of the past come through
I don’t know what the new will bring me
But I will try to see it through
I know there will be bumps and misses
But there is no chance here for me

Beginning the new
I am making sure I get out and never regret life
There is only 365 days in a year
And I plan on living it to the fullest
Oh this country city might be for you but not for me
I will use what I learn to the new

The past was everything to me in the past
Now the future holds so much to me
I have to go

Starting over and making a name for myself
I don’t regret the old me but it’s time to bury him
I have to see what else is out there
I cant keep wondering what if

Dad please don’t hate me for this
I know that you want me to stay here for you
I know that were close and I don’t want that to change
But I can’t stay here and watch my life go past me
I have a passion in my heart and need to live it

There is a crossroad now and I can’t choose the easy road
I know that road looks friendly and safe choice
It’s the responsible choice in life
And that is why I’m choosing the other one
I am tired of doing everything that I should do
I need to make some mistakes with great outcomes

Oh begging the new is what I need to do
I need to go out there and let the old be the old
And the new the new

The time to make this new begins
The city lights have taken me under their spell
I must ride this for all it’s worth and see it through
My shaky hands are stomped by my determination
I will start this adventure and not be afraid

I will go out there to begin the new

I will make sure that I use what you taught me in life
But now you have to let go of me
Even if you don’t agree

Heartbreak

Heartbreak is something that everyone goes through in life. Its the feeling of your heart being ripped apart into several pieces. It's the feeling that you think you will never recover from. It is the feelings that you want to go away as the tears fall down your face. Its a feeling no one wants to feel and yet people feel it. Its something that everyone goes through, but in my opinion a blessing in disguise. Its a feeling that you know you will never want to go through. It's something that you can learn from and know that you can fix it. You know that the person you just ended it with isn't the one and when you meet the one you know what to do and what not to do. When you first enter the realm of heartbreak you think your life is over and that you will never recover. In the end though you will recover and be able to stand again. I am not sitting here and saying it's easy. It will take days, weeks, and even months before you are better, but you will get there. You will be a new better person and be happy for it. All you need to know is that you will survive and that you will find your happiness and forget about the heartbreak that you are feeling right now.

Valentine's Day

I know everyone is going to post a blog about this lovely day so what the hell. I feel like valentine's day is a complete joke. Why is it that we have a day dedicated completely to love. If a person is actually in love with someone then they should show it everyday. A person who has a special someone in their lives shouldnt just wait for this day to give them what stupid candies and a stupid card. If you are going to celebrate this pointless holiday then do something romantic. Put tons of roses out or write a song. It might be corny and look stupid, but the thought is all that matters. At the end of the day gifts do nothing at all. In time they will just die, get disgusting, or just be hidden behind other others. If you want to celebrate this holiday do it by making what you did stand out. Don't follow the crowd; instead show people what they should be doing. In the end it's all down to the person and how much they love their significant other.

Following Hearts

People are always told to follow their hearts on decision. People don't mean your actually heart but a figurative heart. When you have a hard decision who do you go to first? Your friends, family, coworker, or even a random stranger. Do you follow their advice completely or take it with a grain of salt? You can be stuck at the cross roads of a decision but at the end of the day it all comes upon you. You have to listen to youself and make the decision. It might be the decision that everyone around you doesn't want you to make, but it only affects you. It is your decision to make and no one else's. Once you make that decision you have to be fully behind it because people will criticize you for your decision but if your heart isn't into it then you will regret that decision and lose yourself.

New Chapters

When someone reads a book they go through chapters of the book. At each end of the chapter it could leave off with a cliff hanger or an ending of something. You want to turn the page to find out what the next chapter has in store for the character of the book.

Well life has chapters and it is one giant book. Each chapter begins with something new going on and ends with something dramatic. People say that high school is one chapter and that once you graduate that it is the ending of that chapter. It then begins a new chapter about life and the unknown. It begins something special that you can't wait to see what happens like a page turning book.

Another Chapter could be about a relationship. It could be about you being with someone for years and months and then you sadly end. You are torn up about it and can't see yourself with someone else. The reader will read your pain and sympathize with you and try to skip to the next chapter to see if you will be okay in the end. Sooner or later you will accept the ending of a love and being a new chapter in your life to find a new love.

Life has chapters and it is bascially one giant book, full of drama happiness and in the end love. It comes down to the writer of their book of life to figure out what they want their chapters to consist. Will they be the heroic that survives all. Or be the weak person who let's everything walk all over them. In the end the book of life is on you and your the one with the pen and paper. So go out there and start writing your book of life.

Snow Storms

The white snow falls softly to the ground as people watch upon. At first it's exciting and you get really pumped to see it build up. You think of the possible things that this white miracle can do for you. For some people it's getting out of school and being able to sleep in. For other's a chance to get out of work and be able to relax. For romantics it's a chance for you to get the snow kiss that you have always wanted since you saw it in the movies.

But the problem with snow is that it caused people to not be able to go anywhere. Maybe that is a good thing being snowed in somewhere. You can spend quality time with some and grow a closer bond or maybe you can work on things that you have been putting on the back burner. Me it would be working on my books or just finishing up homework that i have failed to do.

In the end the white snow that falls caused many great things that helps our lives in the end. If you look at it as shallow thing it is a pain. But if you look deeper into the situation you realize that snow helps you with life and you have to embrace the snow for that. In the end enjoy what is given to you and just experience the life you have.
