The red light in my life has turned green for me
my bags are packed and it's time for me to go
i need to leave now while the light is still green
give it a chance while i have it

i know you want me to stay
your mouth says no
but your eyes say yes

i have to think about me and think of my career

i've got to move towards my life goals
