We were so happy together

But it’s now all over

We both have gone on our own

And now all we have is piles and piles

Of photos that hold on our memories

Too bad we can’t be like those photos



You had a smile that could light up the whole world

It was what made me fall in love with you

And it is the reason that I can’t let go of you

I see the necklace that I gave you for Christmas

It’s wrapped around your neck

It has our initials on it

We thought we were going to be together forever

Now that necklace is in the corner growing dust
