Every day there is inspiration all around me
There is something that inspires me
To write a crazy song or story
Something that I always love to do
Something that I will never lose
It’s the joy of writing
That I will never lose

You can sit there and read the words that I have written
Tear it apart
Say that it’s the worst thing that that you have read
Say that I should just give up on what I do
Well it’s the joy that I feel from writing
And you can’t take that from me
It’s something that I will always have

It’s all for me and no one else
I know it’s selfish
But you can’t take the joy of writing from me

You finish writing a song or a book
Tear down all my work
Well I say fuck you
Because you can’t ruin this for me

I’ll sit right in front of my laptop
Play something anything I don’t care
I’ll let the insanity inside of me take over
Because insanity is the beauty of creativity
I’ll admit that I’m crazy
Because being normal is something I won’t
Ever want to be

I think it’s funny when you say that everything I do is dumb
You say I won’t go anywhere
I should just give up on my dreams
Well who asked you?
Because I’m pretty sure I’m doing something with my life
I’m pretty sure I can stand by my life
And I can have joy knowing I’m doing this

I don’t need your advice
You can give me your opinions
